SN006-EP
The same titled chapter of Henry Miller’s The Air-Conditioned Nightmare inspired the release’s title. The music aesthetics are under heavy influence of River of Gods (by Ian McDolanld) and Island (by Aldous Huxley). Despite heavy literature background, the release itself is an original piece of music.
These two soundscapes will take you to a journey to the Thar Desert, where life is nothing but a pure stillness, where there is no industrial noise and there is no hurry, where God protects life. This God is Love. Love for the people around you, Love for work, Love for the Earth and its gifts. The first track is about the stillness, the beautiful everyday life of a lonely village in the Thar Desert, while the second track is about the breaking of this wonderful monotony, the coming of industrialization to these desert lands.
Now, the sands turned to concrete and huts became two story houses. Love has left these lands.
